Hello everyone!
I'm super excited to share some new work with you!
One of my favorite models, Yvette Gonzalez, approached me with a very cool concept. She wanted to recreate a CHER themed look, based on Cher's iconic 70s-era style.
I was immediately on board, given my love for musicians' style and all things vintage.
I thought it'd be fun to show a bit more of my behind-the-scenes process for this shoot. First, you'll see the moodboard we were working with, the shopping process, and finally, the on-set experience!
THE WARDROBE INSPO

HAIR & MAKEUP INSPO
When you're working with a full glam team, it's important that the Creative Director (or photoshoot producer) has separate inspiration images for hair, makeup, wardrobe, and even posing!
WARDROBE CURATION
After the wardrobe inspo has been approved, I as the stylist am able to start shopping around for the looks.
We decided to rent two beautiful sequin gowns from ASOS, which worked beautifully to create some fun lighting!
PROPS/SET DRESSING
We had a great time using the disco ball hanging in my room as a prop for Yvette to pose with. I have to say, it really helped her harness the character and the mood of the one and only, Cher.
Our photographer, and dear friend, Andrea Perez, brought two beautiful backdrops for us to work with, which set the (disco) scene and brought the entire look together. I knew that their dreamy photographic aesthetic would take this project to the next level!!
ON-SET ASSISTANCE
I was honored to be assisted on-set by none other than rising stylist and costume designer, Mariah Sorrentino. Mariah reached out to me via Instagram one day and I knew we had to work together!
We were a dream team, working together seamlessly. I've found that in the industry, many stylists are wary of competition between themselves and other stylists. However, I find there to be so much value in the creative collaboration that occurs between two stylists, no matter their respective experience levels. Plus, it's always great to have an extra hand on set!

Okay, enough chit chat. Who's ready for the final images??
